Kyale Workcamp in July 2016

We still have few places for those who are interested in joining our workcamps to be hosted by Kyale Small Home. Volunteers will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Teaching activities in various subjects (mathematics, English, debates etc
  • Care giving services, including: washing, cooking, serving, feeding and cleanin

Website for the Ahero Resource Center launched!

We are pleased to announce the launch of the new website for the Ahero Resource Center - www.ahero-resource-center.org!

The Ahero Resource Center follows an innovative integrated socio-economic development approach and offers a variety of services to the local community. It was built by Nyando CBO with strong support from CIVS Kenya.

Partnership with Anike Foundation!

CIVS Kenya is proud to announce that we have signed a partnership agreement with the US based Anike Foundation!

The partnership aims at promoting educational development in Africa by providing educational resources from developed nations to needy institutions. CIVS Kenya.

We are looking forward to a strong and fruitful cooperation between our two organizations to improve the lives of vulnerable and marginalized in Kenya.

Partnership with AiDS Orphan!

CIVS Kenya is happy to inform that we have initiated partnership with the British organization AiDS Orphan.

Together we will work towards eradicating poverty in Kenya by improving the lives of disadvantaged and marginalized communities with a special focus on uplifting the lives of HIV/AIDS Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) and their households. This aims shall be achieved through different activities in the areas of Volunteering and Community Development.

We hope to soon welcome the first volunteers in Kenya and start working on new joint projects.

The 2016 Annual Workcamp Program is now complete
