International Voluntary Service
CIVS gives international volunteers the opportunity to learn and teach, to gain experiences and to work together with the locals on providing communities with needed skills and knowledege in an intercultural environment. CIVS offers monthly international workcamps as well as long and medium term volunteer placements.
Bengi Investment Group (BIG) is a community bank for the poorest people in the rural and peri urban areas of Kenya. It is aimed at accessing the poorest members of society with financial, investment and enterprise services.
Capacity Development
CIVS develops and strengthens the capacities of organizations to improve efficiency and effectiveness in delivery of services to customers. CIVS supports microfinance institutions (MFIs), enterprise support agencies and community development organizations to attain scale and sustainability while serving the poorest.
