Long-Term Volunteering in Kenya

Hope for Children Kenya

Hope for children kenya

Hope for Children was formed in2008 and registered as a community-based organization in 2010 with a vision to address the social issues that affect the vulnerable children in society. The main goal of the project is to offer support, nurture and improve the lives of orphans and vulnerable children that have been subjected to poverty and abuse by providing them with basic needs such as food, shelter, health care and education.

Project Profile

The project has an environment that provides psychological, spiritual, emotional support and nurturing and lots of tender love and cares to the needy children in the society. The project encourages and gives hope to every child and enables them to know that they care and love them. The project has 36 children whose age ranges from 4 months to 17 years. The children go to nearby local schools and stay at the orphanage with their Mother who takes care of them. With the right help and committed support from well-wishers and other stakeholders, these children turn their lives and prepare them to be reliable persons in society. The project believes that every child deserves the best start in life and a chance to fulfill their potential and therefore support them, stand up for them and bring out the best in each and every child.

The project is located in Sosian estate, Kayole Nairobi County.
